Frequently Asked Questions

Where is the conference located?
The conference is located on the campus of California State University, Fullerton. Fullerton is a city in Orange County, California, about 25 miles South East of Los Angeles. Our city motto is “The Education Community” because of California State University, Fullerton’s strong relationship with the city.

How do I get to the conference venue?
Multiple airports service Fullerton, although all three require a shuttle ride/ rental car to the University. Los Angeles Airport (Airport code: LAX) is by far the biggest and the farthest away, but may be the best option for cost and ease of access. It will require a 1-hour shuttle ride (depending of course on the famous L.A. traffic).

John Wayne Orange County Airport (code SNA) and Ontario Airport (ONT) are closer and reasonably priced options worth exploring. The shuttle ride will be shorter (20-30 minutes depending on traffic).

We recommend for those of you not local to Southern California to stay at the Marriot Fullerton, the conference hotel. Once there, you will not need a car as everything is in walking distance.

The conference sessions will be held at the Titan Student Union Conference Center, located on the west side of campus off of State College Blvd. For those driving to the session, parking will be located in the lot adjacent to the TSU.

What is there to do besides the conference?
In case you want to make this more of a family trip in addition to learning about working with men, Southern California is full of fun things to do. Orange County also has amazing beaches, and L.A. offers a wealth of museums and Hollywood. We have many theme parks in the area (Disneyland is just a 8 miles away from the conference hotel). The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim MLB team plays in Angel Stadium, which is 8 miles from campus. They play the White Sox at Angel Stadium on Friday Jun 5.
